Our Story

Meadow Collective was born from a shared frustration with the inaccessibility of truly sustainable materials for small fashion brands. While regenerative fibres exist, they are often locked behind complex supply chains and exclusive relationships, leaving emerging designers without viable options. We created Meadow Collective to bridge this gap—connecting designers and fibre producers through a more open, collaborative, and transparent system.

Mission

Our mission is to make regenerative and circular material sourcing accessible to all designers, not just large-scale brands. By enabling collaboration, lowering minimum order barriers, and fostering direct relationships with farmers, we aim to support a more equitable and transparent fashion industry that values both people and the planet. To find out more about our Ethical and Sustainability practices please visit our Ethical and Sustainability Practices page here.

Vision

At Meadow Collective, our vision is to transform the fashion industry into a system that works in harmony with nature—where materials are not only sourced responsibly, but actively contribute to the restoration of ecosystems. We aim to make regenerative sourcing accessible to all designers, fostering deeper connections between those who grow our fibres and those who create with them.

Looking ahead, Meadow Collective will evolve beyond sourcing into a fully circular platform, introducing end-of-life solutions that enable garments to be returned, recycled, and transformed into new fibres. By closing the loop, we envision a future where fashion operates within a regenerative cycle—where materials are continuously reused, waste is eliminated, and the industry becomes a force for environmental renewal.

How It Works

Meadow Collective is a collaborative sourcing platform that connects fashion designers with regenerative fibre producers through a transparent and accessible system. Access to this system is through our Materials Sourcing Membership. Once joined, designers can browse a curated selection of fibres and materials, learn about their origins, and commit to sourcing them through a shared demand model that allows multiple brands to pool orders and meet minimum quantities together. Once a batch is fulfilled, the materials move into production through trusted supply chain partners, with full traceability from farm to fibre. For those seeking deeper connection, the platform also facilitates direct relationships between designers and farmers, fostering long-term, values-driven partnerships. To find out more, click below.
